Obtaining a tourist invitation to Russia.

Every year, more and more foreign citizens come to the Russian Federation for various purposes, and the main requirement of Russian legislation is strict compliance of the purpose of the trip with the chosen type of visa. Often foreigners do not know that with a tourist visa they cannot enter Russia to visit relatives, for business purposes or for work.
Within 7 working days from the date of entry into the territory of the Russian Federation, a foreigner must register with the migration authorities at his place of residence (get registration). Registration is carried out at the territorial office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs at the address of residence.
A foreigner is obliged to leave the territory of the Russian Federation no later than the expiration date of the visa. Extension of a current tourist visa in Russia without leaving is not possible: a new visa can only be issued at a consulate abroad.
